It’s against RB etiquette rules to publicly name people who “may” be breaking copyright rules, so the previous journal has been depublished.
RB will be doing what they can to check the claims of myself and others who have reported that person, and will be taking appropriate action….

Though I already saw this one Mel – I think it is extremely important to publish news of copyright infringement (or more accurately ‘theft’) asap! The creation of any artform is such a personal activity it can feel such a violation of the self to have someone claim your artwork as their own…

RB tries to walk the fine line of keeping everything pleasant and sweet, and I am happy for them to do that. To be honest I wasn’t aware that the person had already been reported….it just riled me up when I saw such obvious rip offs…as I said, I apologise for going off without checking first. I am pleased, however, that the person has been removed. :)

RB only has nicknames, or false names, I’m guessing, Hans. Probably no point in naming them, they only need change identity….it would be second nature to someone who is claiming other people’s work as their own, I’d suggest.

People leave of their own accord often enough, but it seems RB has to remove a few too….copyright is a tough thing for some people to understand, it seems!

An account deleted? That’s new, from what i’ve seen they’ll delete one or two things but not touch the artist account. Mind you, the person I’m thinking of I can’t seem to find now, so possibly it’s the person who was deleted. If so, only took them a few years!
