Thanks everyone. Sean, this was taken after the rain had stopped, which explains the beautiful greens. I took this shot in the Border ranges National Park, around 2+ hours south of my home…they have a much nicer climate and weather pattern there, because of the mountains.

Mel, the wet weather you say that you are “suffering” here is the kind of wet weather that you have in heaven after you’ve lived your life by donating half your salary as a priest to charity, adopting three abandoned kittens per week, and spending every minute of your spare time nursing 3rd world children with rare contageous diseases. The wet weather that I suffer is the kind you have in Belgium after they tell you they’re sorry but your application to hell has been rejected. Two different kinds of wet weather… one having nothing to do with the other. I hope that tells you how beautiful I think this picture is in spite of your suffering!!

My mums favourite tree, she absolutely loved Jacaranda’s…..If she were still here I would buy the biggest print I could of this, she would have adored it!!
Sublime image….the colours are just so beautiful….such a gorgeous mauve….and the view is superb!
(I will grab one of these later when I get settled in my new place, to remind me of how much she loved them…..)
