    I’ll go for the trick …cause I’d love to see what that little hand is up to. Really comes out of of the background…like reaching for something out of the frame.

    It is a mesmeriszing picture. I love to stare…and wonder wht the hand is attached to…and what it is reaching for!!! Thanks for the information on how you shoot. So little of what I shoot is consciously done. I know what I want and I play till I get it. I learn alot from your posts Mel!!

    The hand is attached (with many other hands) to a carved wooden statue in a Nepalese pavilion here in Brisbane. I think it’s the Goddess Durga, but can’t be sure. It’s behind scratched glass, and was night time, and quite dark when I took the shot….Thanks Marny, glad you can get something from my posts!
