I’ll go for the trick …cause I’d love to see what that little hand is up to. Really comes out of of the background…like reaching for something out of the frame.
Cool image (again;-)
Mel Brackstone replied 26 days ago
Thanks so much Alain, the only trick is trying to handle the lens in very dark conditions, I’m very pleased with the result!

Marny Barnes 25 days ago
It is a mesmeriszing picture. I love to stare…and wonder wht the hand is attached to…and what it is reaching for!!! Thanks for the information on how you shoot. So little of what I shoot is consciously done. I know what I want and I play till I get it. I learn alot from your posts Mel!!
Mel Brackstone replied 25 days ago
The hand is attached (with many other hands) to a carved wooden statue in a Nepalese pavilion here in Brisbane. I think it’s the Goddess Durga, but can’t be sure. It’s behind scratched glass, and was night time, and quite dark when I took the shot….Thanks Marny, glad you can get something from my posts!
