This is very appealing indeed mel, love the way the light creeps through the tree to slightly illuminate the ground, has an ethereal quality. It works very well as a monochrome image, it adds some impact to the overall effect

    Cheers WW!

fabulous Mel, something about trees and light coming through them,
can be spooky, or as in this, simply beautiful

Absolutely beautiful Mel and I love the title.
We hold the camera and press the button but its really Mother Nature that does the work for 98% of the shots. We are just chroniclers of glimpses in time.

  • Mel Brackstone replied about 1 month ago

    Agreed, thanks Garth!

Like the tones and contrasts, does the lens at 24mm give a natural vignette?

  • Mel Brackstone replied about 1 month ago

I suspect I may have had the polariser on for this…I’ll have to check if there’s vignetting without it…thanks John

If it is the polariser, it is a great effect. I get a similar effect with my wide anle lens and polariser, but not as cool as this.
