Storm on the horizon
I’ve used my photos of this house a couple of times now
It seems that now there’s a difference between art and photography??
Ok, seems I’ve been too sensitive, ignore my rants :)

Peter Hill
I can see it now. Whilst waiting for their cat to dry in the microwave, some DS (Dumb Schmuck) decided to upload a holiday snap of a squirrel but couldn’t find where to upload a “Photograph”. After filing a $100m Supreme Court writ against RB for failing to provide “simple” instructions, RB decided to compromise for the benefit of all DSs and change “Art” to “Art and Photography”. That’s my take on your question. Nice pitcha by the way. Awesome.
Mel Brackstone replied
hehehehehe….good one Peter :)
TextureoftheSin
I reckon Peter’s got it. Love your new house :)

Its a fantastically menacing old house, and a spooky rendering. I think photography and art blend quite nicely together actually, and the dividing line is increasingly blurred, I’m happy to say.

ah yes – it’s a prickly ol’ topic, the photography/art/photoshop debate – and as a dude who canabalises photos and spews ‘em back up into the p’shop mixin’ bowl to make ‘art’ pieces (they call it ‘sample culture’ and i like that term), i get pricked with it alot by people with nothing better to do than try digging trenches between artforms with the great iron spade of mediocrity and art-snob blah.
Both versions of this are great – can’t choose between ‘em.. and they are both definitely works of art!! If Britney Spears is an ‘artist’, you most definitely are…..
Robyn Lakeman 1 day ago
Wow I love colour and the b&w!
