    through the viewfinder (of a medium format camera, generally) using a digital cam…....there’s a whole new bit of learning ahead :)

    Yep the TTV mode works really well here. Given the subject is drought, it further emphasises the choking, introspection, stress and tension of the landscape. A perfect use of technology for the subject matter. ‘Least that’s what I reckon.

    This ttv texture works very well Mel, and without actually suffering from trying to hold and aim two cameras simultaneously. Reminds me to get that old Duaflex out to play. I suspect this overlay/mask and other treatment, makes for a better look than the real thing would.

    You’re right, it does look a little constrained, but I do like to try new things :) There’s a link up the top for a view taken nearby….in wide vision.
