    Oh Mel, this is my favourite shot, I remember how excited we were to see this minimal world and to land in it and shoot was so exciting, love how you have presented the final image… adore the negative space, the red, the wind swept shirt…. cold but so worth it… this is so my favourite! Love it!

    I love the minimalism in this, and that small slash of bright red really adds so much to it. Paul’s windswept appearance while gazing in apparent bemusement at the confusing workings under the bonnet makes me smile big-time – I can see myself doing just that. Love your treatment, too, it’s slightly hazy effect hasn’t diminished the gleam of water on the ground. Great collab.

    This is such a classic image. A Vanzella setting in the hands of Mel Brackstone! Love it.
    The tones are wonderful and that slash of red of the Gas Station gives it an iconic look.
    Love the simplicity and composition… why Paul can never keep his shirt on or under control, I’ll never know!
