you attract some odd people Nanny Mel, Tots goes shopping with you and her clothes drop off, Paul Van Z literally rips his clothes in your company and as for this girl well I can only imagine the looks you two attracted walking into Starbucks!
Mel Brackstone replied
As if we’d walk into THAT place…..sheeeesh, Andrew!
Mel Brackstone replied
lol…...just remembered that most of them have closed down here in oz, and you can’t blame me or serp!!!
Firstly, they didn’t seem to pay much attention to product optimisation. In short, they just took what worked in the US, and tried it here. Unfortunately for Starbucks, what worked in the US was bitter, weak coffee augmented by huge quantities of milk and sweet flavoured syrups. Not so much coffee, as hot coffee-based smoothies.

The mind of Mel Brackstone, a scary, but intriguing place with soooo much going on …

Love the green cast in the lighting captured, it gives the whole image an otherworld feel. Excellent composition and choice of model, I get the feeling it gets down and dirty in that alleyway…
David Hibberd
Nice one Mel, it appears visy bins are everywhere
Lance Leopold
Alice in chains goes deep into grunge territory!! you keep us guessing what’s coming next,Mel,the toning has “a hazardous waste, radioactive glow” about it,which adds to the surreal feel the image has, well done!!!!
Sharon Hammond
Waste never loked so appealing. Luv that texture
Tracey Mac
Love the brickwork in the backdrop…......bins in the middle and your luscious model in TotS gear at the foreground…...........this is special Mel…....I think you better take TotS next time – even if she did leave you behind on the shopping expo :)
Amazing treatment btw!!
John Conway

the range of your work is amazing and this is another fascinating image. love the model’s “outfit” and the alley has so much going on…
Anne McGinn
That is TotS outfit? Good lord, she should definately take you shopping with her. While this outfit is stunning on this model, I think you would do it more justice… besides, isn’t it time for you to buy some new stockings??? Love the treatment, great background love the lihgt on the bricks and the contrast it gives to the rather surprising foreground. Are you sure this isn’t an alley in Hollywood, CA???
