Thanks so much for your lovely comments everyone. This is the same tree, in Lake Wanaka. I moved around and took different views as the sun rose. This one shows off the light on the leaves to best advantage, I think. Bill, if you want a slice of heaven, then New Zealand is definitely the place to find it, it’s scenic heaven, that’s for sure!

The sun going down reflects the light perfectly. My best time of the day. The colour tones are brilliant, and I think that there is just a perfect amount of reflection with the tree the most central point. Thumbs up Mel.
