Sold as a digital file for posters and postcards to advertise a climate change event in Canberra, May 2009.

    wow! that’s dusty looking! Was you camera safe??? It’s a beautiful shot but I wouldn’t have taken my camera out in this dust storm. Really, if you’re going to abuse your camera like that, maybe you should send it to me.. you know someone who will appreciate it and care for it and love it and give it a name….....:)

    Mel, this is my mothers and brothers country. I look out on the green of the hills and know how dry, how desolate central NSW is. You capture superbly the sense of place and the sense of endless waiting …. for rain.

    It needs to be looked at in larger view, and it is well worth it. The cloud formation with the mist below looks wonderful. Except for the parched land (and the heat, which you can not feel from this), you woulld never believe it was a drought.
