Such a great mystic landscape! Your treatment is amazing! I love the point of view with the curvy lines through the sand to the calm waters leading through the image of those white frosted trees! Very surreal!

Otherworldly Mel… makes me wish I had been a better girl this year so Santa would have brought me that IR filter I wanted ;)

  • Mel Brackstone replied

ahhh, maybe you had to be badder, not betterer :)

The add on filter is a royal pain in the arse with a Canon DSLR anyway, you’ve have likely tossed it in the bin….now, if you know anyone with a Nikon D70…..snaffle that for next to nix and put the filter on THAT!!!

    HNY sweet thang!

  • Mel Brackstone replied

Well, what are you waiting for??? Go out and get yourself a Hoya R72 filter to fit on the front of one of your lenses and show us what you can do :)

you could try longer exposures with tripod…..probably the only way it’s going to work. Then you’ll end up with bloom on a regular basis…..just needs practise….
