This looks like a real early one. Somewhere between an hour and 30 minutes before sunup (and then I read the title – not a sunset surely? Maybe 30 mins to an hour after sun down then!). The glow around the tree works well with the colours with the absence of clouds and the light kissed and texture drenched sand pulls your eyes straight through the still water to the back and beyond.

Sunset, go figure! T’was around 15mins after sundown, the glow doesn’t last long here…stars were out and glow was gone within 45mins of this shot…

Boots were still dry for this one :) Just as well, we stayed out for hours after sundown, looking for star trails etc….
