Great darkness to this one Mel. The water movement around the posts are sublime and almost sculpted they’re so good. The clouds to the left of the sun just show the scale of the whole shot as they look so small.

Out of all the shots of old ‘Dicky’ I’ve seen (though never in real life)... the mood in this is outstanding… so much story to be read into this one – though how 1 shot of something that must have been photographed a million times can stand out like this, I have no idea…
