Fantastic shot! I like the strams of water between the rock and the waves – awesome!
micmac, 2 months ago
Fantastic contrast with the sky and the two reflections of the orange clouds ,so clear and dark at the same time ,superb scene, amazing shot.
Paul Tupman, 2 months ago
Another winner! This is brilliant Mel… love the little streams of water receding back from the rocks.. a great contrast to the sand and dark rocks. I think what really does it for me though is the crisp outline of those clouds and the great looking orange light up there in the top right. Well worth the early start for.

Wonderful shot Mel

Beautiful shot. It keeps my eyes busy soaking in everything in the shot. THe water streaming back, the clouds, the rocks, and the sun coming up over the top of the clouds.

Classic MB! Love the subdued light.
Stuart Chapman, 2 months ago
I really like the dark strong tones which really highlights the 3 small streaks of light in the water and on the beach. The water movement is fantastic as usual (ours doesn’t seem to move in the same way! – Lucky you) and the light hitting the top of that dramatic cloudline is exquisite.

another outstanding seascape – wonderful
Mel Brackstone in reply to Stuart Chapman’s comment, 2 months ago
It’s an interesting phenomenom, Stuart, and only happens on certain beaches with the right topography. Look for a sloping beach….might be tough in your part of the world….but it’s usually where the sand slopes quite quickly to the surf that we see these streaks.
