The Wrath of Thor
Raquel and I finally did it. We have chased storms, sunsets, brumbies and after weeks of watching the weather we got a lighting strike.
I’m still buzzing, that would have to be one of the best highs I’ve had in a long time.

This was pure luck. We just picked a spot off the road a bit out of twon. I didn’t even know the river was below us or the powerlines. But I have now found a good spot.

Nice one, going through a storm drought on the goldie. Hopefully this has you addicted to get out and catch the next storm.

Thank you. I’m completely addicted now. Living inland we don’t get as many lightning strikes as when I’ve been at the coast (about 2 hours drive from where I live). Although it is thunderstorm season here though. We had an Electrical storm on Saturday night but no strikes.

Oh wow, well done! Is this down nea Point Hut? Last night I discovered just how frustrating lightning can be to capture… I love the colours & the reflection in the river :-)

Good one Mel, I’ll get mine up tonight, I accidentally deleted mine from the card when I got home, spent hours looking for a program to recover it, thank god I did!!! So if you ever delete a file by accident, come see me!!!
