Hello there.
I’ve always had a passion for photography. My favorite photographers are Max Dupain , Ansell Adams and Edward Weston. But my favourite would have to be Frank Hurley’s work and his photograph of The Endurance trapped in ice on his expedition to Antarctica with Sir Ernest Shackleton in 1915.
I love landscape photography but would also like to focus on portrait and abstract shots. Mainly to get my ‘eye in’ and to experiment with different effects.
I studied most of my photography at school and began with an Olympus OM10 SLR, I still like to get it out from time to time with a roll of black and white film. However the costs and accessibility to labs and processing have made it near impossible.
So it’s digital we go.
