Nebuta
The Nebuta festival is held in Japan every year in Aomori. Gigantic paper, wood and wire festival floats are created over a period of 4 months, then paraded in the streets at night. Depicting samurai, Gods, historical figures and dragons; lit from within to create a glowing effect.
