When you are a mother
Life can feel unknown,
Our feelings and emotions
Feels like it takes us over.
I have always been blessed in my life
With the lives of my children
But then the loss of my first born.
The Lord giveth,
And sometimes taketh away,
Being blessed with a child
Is so amazing in itself,
But your children you never expect
Will leave you behind.
And at some point in life
The Lord may take our children home
Leaving us with feelings
That we don`t understand.
The guilt,the questions,
Your mind never sleeps,
The butts and what if`s,
Hoping for some peace,
Trying so hard, but
Only remembering the pain.
Never forgetting but the hurt still remains.
The importance for mothers alike,
Never doubting yourself,
But continue to trust in God,
For because of Him,
They were in our lives.
With such a short time
I found unconditional love,
And finally found peace
And now I know she is happy and safe,
As she watches me from above,
Surrounded by Gods Grace.
