The Survival

I breathe the warmth of spring
As the beam greets the shade of life
The healthy garden, so complete of existence

It’s a bright sunny day
The junipers stand the way they did yesterday
Evergreen amongst the flaming glow

In the slight chill of the fading winter,
A song plays in my head in harmony with the pleasing tones
In the calm of the painted picture

The stretched land confound me,
The brilliance of life that lingers
Defines each space alone

Bewildered, I reach for the flying colors
Far above the ground, I feel the existence
Of the warm shine and the snow that never reached me.
