It’s a tee. It’s a dress. It’s the new Graphic T-shirt Dress.

“See”

Observing the watch on my wrist
Ticking precious moments away
Time speeding past at a slow rate
I am forward and backwards here

Seeing the mirror reflecting all
But who I am not being present
My skin a constant disguise
For the me inside

Beauty is an ugly concept
Rate one skin cell against the other
See what genetic code is best
Which DNA lives up to the expectation

Of a perfection that cannot exist
A Utopia in which I reside
Day after day fading into the next
In this dream of reality

Truth is something concocted
By someone with a vivid imagination
Syrup we are spoon fed as a child
To prepare us for the taste of a lie

Bitterness on the tongue
As it reaches for the sweetness
A pleasure it is not permitted to find
Instead the feel of teeth against it

White gates locking things into place
Into a decided perspective
A deception by choice
A magic show with an instruction manual

I see inside the core of pain
And project the future image of myself
Into space hoping someone will reveal
What is really real and what is my own lie

Artist's Description

A very blunt look into one view of the world around us. There are elements of truth here we would rather not recognise, and depending on our mood – we will ignore them or see them. They are not always present. It is really how you see it that counts.
