Hi everyone,

Just a quick note to let you know I am preparing my new novel for submission not only to publishing houses (one in particular!) but into the Dagger Debut awards that specialise in Crime and Mystery writing.

To back step for a moment, if you were not aware I have been quietly writing my second novel for a couple of months and it is going really well. I am very passionate about this book and story and have learnt a lot from writing the first one; and so I have been busily applying this knowledge to my new story. I think this is going to be a very pyschological thriller stemmed firmly in the crime category and cannot wait to share it with you.

In the mean time I am letting you know that the deadline for completion of this novel is November 2009! With only a few months to go I have a lot of work to do, but I wanted to share this update with you all because you have been so supportive and when I write I always keep my supporters in my mind – I know that without you my writing would not get as far.

I will aim to post some snippets of the new book for you to look at. Consider it a taste tester for the big reveal!

Anyway, thank you all for following my path and I look forward to seeing my new book in print – in your hands!
