I just started peeling pine bark one day (or maybe it was birch? Birch Perch?), and this little guy popped out!

Thank you dearest! I thought I had about destroyed the paper in the process. But it is holding up nicely! Glad I finally took a pic of it yesterday, though. It’s definitly NOT an heirloom piece, lol!

I never in my LIFE would have known there was such a thing as a hogfish and that there were so MANY different kinds of hogfish! AMAZING planet we live on. The wonders never cease!!! Thanks dougie!!
