i love this simple photo of an old style shop. reminds of the days when the “mom & pop” businesses were able to keep families afloat and the days when the owners and workers knew you by name, asked about your loved one’s welfare, and knew what you wanted and needed. nowadays, store employees and the owners could care less about a customer unless they have money. big turnarounds, non-hospitable workers, and always a different manager. i love the old machinery he’s working on keeping the past alive and well. not none of these itty bitty ipods and cell phones that could get stolen from you by ants. lol !
