Stunning Meach – Been up this cliff, its an awesome view from up there. Oooo – and clotted cream is just to die for, especially when served with a fresh scone with jam and a cup of fine tea.

Nice capture Dai. When was this then ???
Meach in reply to RichardV’s comment, 7 months ago
It was around May last year I think – I took loads of pics here and in Poole but most of them were lost when my laptop departed this Earth – I found this one and a few others on a cd
RichardV in reply to Meach’s comment, 7 months ago
Give me a shout if you go again. Im not far away !!!
Meach in reply to RichardV’s comment, 7 months ago
Will do mate – Alison is a Medical rep and her territory covers most of Wales and all the South West right across to Southampton so I come with her when I can to share the driving (I call it ‘Driving Miss Daisy but don’t tell her that) – we stay a couple of days so I go photographing and she goes selling. I think we may be down your way next week – I’ll have to check with herself.

It’s so beautiful, Meach, so glorious. Cider, pasties AND CLOTTED CREAM???? Holy moley. Is this also the place where once a year hikers and bikers take a stand for the right of public access to the land and walk some great distance along the coast trails to reaffirm the trails?
Meach in reply to Barbara Sparhawk’s comment, 7 months ago
Not heard of that Barbara but it’s not really my patch – Richard Veal may be able to tell you the answer to that.
Cider, pasties and clotted cream sound like the ideal meal to me

Hi Meach, Jackie and I have also trudged up that one a few times. You definitely know you have a heart and lungs while ascending, its certainly steeper and further than perhaps appears in the image though the people (white dots) near the top give some idea of scale. :-)
Meach in reply to NATURELENS’s comment, 7 months ago
Your dead right it is a tougher climb than it looks – it’s not so bad for a photographer though because you have a ready made excuse to stop while you catch your breath
