Subtle Rose
Harsh words befit your heart
Twisted by savage thorn
Entwined by a beguiling dark art
Leaving Godly thoughts unborn
Still the light that shines through you
Is more benevolent than meets the eye
It shines with love like a cobalt blue
Before whispering a fond goodbye
