I’m here as an apprentice of sorts – I enjoy observing and learning from others. I’m a preschool teacher turned art student. Ergo, ALL comments including critiques, suggested improvements, tips, etc. are welcome and greatly appreciated!
I’m interested in how we (individually & collectively) relate to and impact one another, our communities, cultures, and environment, especially within the context of our digital and global world. Recently returned to university studies to pursue the above ideas, including photography, ethnography-ethnology, visual communication, interactive media, and design.
As a humble seeker of Truth, Beauty, Life, Peace and Love within the broken Reality of Humanity, I value God, people, ideas and their expressions created by, found in and applied to the process of living; the footprints of life. Through photography I hope to explore, understand, and share this universal journey…
Photography, music, film and art were serious considerations in my youth, but were set aside for a traditional adult life. (I love being a teacher, wife and mother.) Now many seasons later, the passion for art has taken root and bloomed once again… I’ve returned to the beginning.

Beef Broth
Wishing it was all a dream, I unplugged myself from the wall and slowly pulled the pump and pole across the cold tile floor. The wheels prattled an uneven rhythm in rebellion.
