How could the Pilgrims have ever imagined? In the first days of settling in the new colony the transportation options were by foot or by water. How could they imagine coaches to carry hundreds of people fifty miles to get to a job, and return that same day? What would they have thought of these machines running on the rail? Riders stacked up on two levels, reading by electric lights, and moving at speeds faster than anything on earth… beyond imagining.
