Time Worn Faith of Ireland by

*Her beads are worn and broken, they fell to the ground.

The faith that took hold of old Ireland
has survived the centuries, the troubles, and the famines.
It lives in the deepest part of the heart and soul of her…
A faith that has carried forward to the rest of the world.

Her beads are worn and broken, they fell to the ground.*

It is simply a case of finding meaning in randomness of everyday life.
The rosary was found on the ground broken off with two beads left. The first would be the Our Father and the second would be the first of three Hail Mary’s.
Assuming it may have been once blessed, I couldn’t bring myself to dispose of it.
So it hangs in my office on a piece of scotch tape next to a shamrock left from March.
Interestingly, no one in the office has touched it for the past year.

    Thanks for commenting!
