Jayne the Hero of Canton by MBWright88

Surprise! I’m a Firefly fan! Wait, you’re not surprised? Well, I suppose it was kind of inevitable given that I am a fan of a lot of other shows catering to the nerdy crowd. As a result of my love and having recently finished the series (I still need to watch Serenity) I felt inspired to do some artwork based around the show. This is the first of more pieces to come. This is the first of many Jayne related pieces too I think. I love Jayne. Not in an “ooo he’s so dreamy,” kind of way, but as a character. He’s a bad ass, there’s not doubting that, but he’s also hilarious, and also a little dumb (in the funniest way possible). He is easily my favorite character. I have this available as a sticker right now. There are some issues with it as a shirt, so I’m going to clean that up. I’m working on coming up with a poster design. Stay tuned.

The man they call Jayne!
He robbed from the rich and he gave to the poor,
He stood up to the man and he gave him what for.
Our love for him now, ain’t hard to explain,
The hero of Canton, the man they call Jayne!”
