“Ich bin ein Berliner”

At least I would quite like to be after my recent visit there! I have to say that I was surprised as to how much there was to see (and photograph) in the city – my only real problem was that I wasn’t there for long enough!

Of particular interest to me was the Berlin Wall and remnants of East German architecture and influence – mainly because it featured so much in the news in my childhood along with the fall of the wall in 1989 while I was at University. The modern architecture that is quickly filling up the spaces that “no-mans-land” used to take up is also fantastic. A selection of my images can be viewed HERE and I hope to post more on my own website later in the month.

In addition to the sightseeing, the food and restaurants were excellent. If you have an opportunity for a European city break I cannot recommend it enough.

On a completely different subject – One problem with a blog or any other kind of update is that when you are busy and have lots to talk about you have no time to update it, and when you have the time nothing is happening! I am currently snowed under with portrait work, restocking outlets etc that I barely have time to look at redbubble…..so bear with me if you make a comment and don’t hear back.
