bwhaaa haaa.. this so reminds me of the control panels in all those sci fi flicks on TV, thos buttons never made sense LOL Beautiful story
Cheers Golem.Yeah, it’s a bit inspired by Doctor Who, that and my parents attitude to computers.They’re generally pretty good but sometimes, gee….The story is similar in it’s setting to a graphic story I did for a science fiction magazine, Aurealis.It’s published in a few months.

I think if it goes bad, he has to telegraph the remnants of MicroSoft who will interrogate him needlessly for hours before blaming it on something that was modified centuries before(someone turned off the updates and it’s been generations since anyone knew how to turn them back on, which probably wouldn’t work anyway).They still have Apples but they use them as furniture.
I’ll let you know when that story comes out, not allowed to post it before publication.
