Ok, that’s not the name of the creek, but I couldn’t think of a better title. I have no idea what the name of the creek is! :oP

This is painted from a photo I took in a small city park in Calgary, Alberta Canada. In fact, just below the blue sky opening in the top left corner, there is a major freeway! great place to hide from the city eh? ;o)

Michael Beckett is a Calgary based artist who just loves the process of creating art. His favorite media is acrylic paint and likes working with conte (hard pastel), but also likes playing with new ‘toys’. Subject matter can vary widely, but tends to paint still lifes, natural scenes and wildlife, and figurative work. He also enjoys using conte to draw uniquely styled portraits.
