I am a big fan of drawings, paintings, etc of hands. I think you can tell a lot about people from their hands alone. Very nice drawing!
Well this is the palm of my left hand. Are you into palm reading?
– Marilyn Brown
:) No, i know nothing about palm reading! …I meant the way the hands are held or moved, etc. can tell quite a bit about the person at that moment in time, just like faces do.
Sorry Sorina, I knew what you meant. That was just my sorry attempt at humour. Next try I’ll leave the comedy to the professionals.
You tend to be very rational despite having a passionate and sensual nature ;-)I was quite into that sort of thing when I was very young; don’t know how dependable my memory is though
Thanks Lee. I don’t know how dependable my drawing is but that sounds pretty right to me. Thanks again.
Now you’ve done it!! Two songs going through my head, the rest of the day…..
You’ve got Elvis going through my head, singing: Come on and be my little good luck charmUh-huh huh, you sweet delightI want a good luck charm a-hanging on my armTo have, to have, to hold, to hold tonight
You need handsTo hold someone you care forYou need handsTo show that you’re sincere_When you feelnobody wants to know youYou need handsto brush away your tear
When you hold a brand new baby
You need tender hands to guide them on their wayYou need hands to thank the Lord for living and for giving us this day
Great, strong work!
Actually there is another I was/am going to submit of the otherside of my hand where my wedding rings standout. The title of that one will be “To Have”.
A fine and detailed study. Excellently done.
This drawing has taken my mind back many years!!!! I used to draw my left hand every day just to practice drawing!!! You’ve done a great job here Marilyn.
You hit the nail on the head Lynda. Thanks of the compliment.
