Fisher's Ghost Art Prize!
I am so excited ladies and gents because for the first time ever my work has been selected as a finalist in an art prize.
My Drawing Scribbly Gum was selected as a finalist in the Art on Paper division and I am stoked!
It just goes to show all you serially rejected artist’s (like me) that persistence pays so keep plugging away!
If anybody is in the area the show is being opened tomorrow, Friday the 31st of October at 6.30pm for a 7pm start. Unfortunately I can’t be there so have a drink for me!!
The Exhibition runs from the 2nd of November till the 24 of November, 2008.
Gallery hours 10am – 4pm daily

i’m penned in to go but it depends on how my day pans out 2morro,it’s always an excellent opening! the G26 group show opens at 6.30 pm on wed 12 th nov at 115 sailors bay rd northbridge ,i haven’t finished the flyer yet!

Big congrats Marilyn, well deserved. Re serially rejected artists, i always like to think about how often JK Rowlings was rejected until finally someone saw the potential. So good that someone saw your talent for how good it is.
