very nice and gritty.. i love grit..

soft curves with harsh straight lines a nice touch.. makes me think of when you just start to dream after falling asleep.. was this well thought out or did you piece it together as u went along??

It came about while I was experimenting with different surfaces. I built up the surface of the paper before sketching the figure. I generally work instictively and am thrilled when it works as well as this has. Thanks!

the white simulates a calming state except for her va- blah blah

this is another beatiful peace and is similar at least in the tones to your previous work but less abstractivesness.This must be pinky mood that you are on lately. I like the sort of aggressive strokes to break the realism .By the I was`nt notified of this entry somehow?
