But not the less did the Furies cry out against him that he was accursed and given over to them as a prey; for that they were appointed of the Gods to execute vengeance upon evil-doers, of whom he was the chief, seeing that he had slain the mother that bare him.
But while they thus cried out against him, there appeared the Goddess Athené, very fair to see, with the spear of gold in her hand; and she spake, saying, “From the banks of Scamander am I come, for I heard the cry of one that called upon my name. And now I would fain know what meaneth all this that I see. Who art thou, stranger, that sittest clasping this image? And who are ye that are so strange of aspect, being like neither to the Gods nor to the daughters of men?”
Then the Furies made answer, “We will tell thee the matter shortly, daughter of Zeus. We are the children of Night, and we are called the Curses, and our office is to drive the murderer from his home.”
Then said the goddess, “And whither do ye drive him?”
“We drive him to the land where no joy abideth.”
“And why do ye pursue this man?”
“Because he dared to slay his mother.”
I have done alot of Photoshop work in the past year. I took an ass kicking from my photoshop teacher Charles. And it pissed me off so much I made this.
Funny how that works.
I can honestly say that this is the proudest over a peice of work I have ever been

Marny, I think you just kicked Charles’ butt with this one bigtime! You`ve got amazing skills and I`m proud to be part of a site that attracts artists of your vision and inspiration. I personally can`t wait to see more. The way you`ve integrated the skeletal form with your subject is genious, not to mention your composition and tonal balance. Funny how a teacher that pissed you off was the driving force behind this beautiful piece of work; or maybe you meant it in a way to say that he pushed you so much, that’s why you could make such a piece. It was a combination of both. He compared me to another artist on this site and told me that she was improving so much faster in a couple of months than I had in a whole year. That my work had come to a standstill. SIGH.
He knew in his talented head that I would not take that lying down. And here I am. His comment is the first at the top right under my picture! Thank you so much for the favorite and the comments!

LOL, I see. it is cool that you have people you know personally in the redbubble community; although for myself, I’m actually avoiding telling my peers about it; particurly people from my university because I see them too much already (the way our program works is that they admit a small number of students each year, and we all take the same courses together EVERY year); so I need a little getaway ;)

I had told him ( not realising it was him running the project) that I was going to try out and submit the pics to your forum!! LOL ( before I found out I couldn’t) DUH.
He came back a second later and asked me if I was serious…I said (and I quote) @#!k YEAH!!! Then I started babbling about this idea and that idea…then he told me he was doing it! I still was of the understanding that I would submit to the forum. I don’t think I quite believed that I would get a chance until he posted it today…and now I am having anxiety ( the OMG what have a done syndrome…lol)

hahahaa!!! hey i am havie been having the equivalent of WRITERS BLOCK, it lasted about 5 days!!! which is FOREVER!!! i think i kinda went into shock!! eeeewwwww I am over it now….so doing major hours to try to catch up…....i start auditioning on Tuesday….i put it out there and its like moths to a flame for the models…...or rather, a TBone to a Pitbull…...lol (to quote Marney)
