Little tree @ Little River
We made this shot very late in our shoot, was almost getting too dark to see without a torch. I had to crack the ISO to 200, open the aperture to f/5 and wind down the shutter to 1/15 to suck in enough ambient to record on the sensor of my ancient 5D and 17-40L. Flash power on my Quadra was almost all the way down on socket ‘B’ @ about 10 or so Watt seconds. Great little spot we found just off the road near the Earth Sanctuary at the foot of the You Yangs Ranges.

Thanks Baz, this Quadra I got makes it all so much easier. The best thing of all is adjusting power levels from the Skyport trigger on the cameras hotshoe…....very sexy IMO and so much easier than having to walk over to the strobe or battery pack to fiddle with buttons, plus, the battery can go all damn day on one charge…....sweet.
