Time

Mixed media painting.
Acrylics, collage, inks, coloured pencils and black marker.

A depiction of that feeling of passing time, while there’s no change, or progression .. For those of us who demand a lot from ourselves, time is the worst enemy.

I guess this is my representation of how sometimes my mind is racing with thoughts while my body stays in the one spot unable to keep up.

Available for sale as

Greeting Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints and Framed Prints

Iknow its emo, hey LostBoy1? Art’s got to be the worst way to get emotions and feelings out. Cos you put them out on show for everyone and people can be cruel. Hmm thats why they all all artists are a bit mad. lol

Thank you Carole, You know you’ve achieved something as an artist, when someone else can relate to what you’re trying to say..

So expressive!! I can really relate to this image. Sometimes life just feels like its caving in and it squishes my creativity. Then I see something beautiful and/or inspiring and i’m back! RB is a great place for inspiration, thanks for sharing.

“Great Art is the outward expression of an inner life in the artist, and this inner life will result in his personal vision of the world”.
I found this quote in one of my art journals from years ago.. too bad I didn’t document who said this.. Its always meant a lot to me..

Thanks Kenneth, thank you, Spike. Its great to be heard..

I love it when artists just put down exactly how they were feeling at the time of the work. It’s so honest and resonates from the work all the more. Keep following your emotions Mazrad, you can’t lose.
A really well executed mixed media!

thank you. textures are something new to me, but im finding them fascinating at the moment..
mixed media allows for wonderful variations, sometimes unpredictable results which is very exciting. I’ve recently started to paint again using traditional mediums so should hopefully have some new paintings up. yay and textures..

I love this emotive artwork. It resonates with me,
It is very topical esp. after all the misuse of the archaic terrorism laws .
You have great talent and I hope you will be able to live your dream.
