This was a well established business in York, and a going concern for many years, I kne it when it as on Blake Street, and I am not sure wher this shop was.

The negs are very old and I wish there were a few more I could have saved, there is just one and I rather think it was his family. I have a photo, and I also copied the back of it, that was taken in Fossgate, exactly the same shop as I had, but the photo has been taken 1oo years before! Mind some of my mother and grandfather are also over 100 years old as well!
