This is the night I photographed Cory’s lighthouse in lemon light. The ducks were about to waddle up the bank to the yard they use for sleeping. I didn’t think it was going to turn out well.
These four fellows are all that is left of a large flock of nearly 30. The last remaining female, bred by them all, has disappeared, and we think the hunters shot her during duck season.
