On our slow drive over Going to the Sun Road, the roar of glacier melt accompanied us at every turn in the squiggly road. It sprayed, it splashed, it roared, it dripped over little leafy grottos in rock wall crevices, it coursed under the road in culverts and it came from the glaciers above our heads.
