AVALANCHE CREEK, GLACIER NATIONAL PARK by

Avalanche Creek is beautiful. If you walk the stone steps to the top, you are treated to a narrow gorge, the sides of which are grottos for ferns, moss and other plants.

It’s a well know, well-loved feature of the park and at this time of year (July), full of melt from the glaciers above.
