Rosalee Lane, Creek Potter, Panama City, FL by

Rosalee made incredibly beautiful pots of native blue clay, a seam of which ran through my road before it was paved (gasp!) to my horror.

I believe Rosalee has passed away. Her smile was as quick as her hands, fashioning the coils of clay into art.

I miss seeing her at pow wows and other events throughout the county.

they no longer display locally made pots at our pow wows here……they’re all shipped in from other states. :o(
Hopefully she was able to pass on her knowledge so it won’t be forgotten

Thank you for the lovely comments, and thank you, whoever you are, for purchasing this image in two forms. I hope you will leave me a comment. Did you know her? Has she passed on? That’s what I heard.

May, yes she passed way in 2007. There is one of her laughing that she had at home, from the same time at Natures Gallery, it might have been taken by you as well. She was a wonderful person, mother & teacher and had immeasurable love for everyone she met. But, hey, I’m biased. She’s my mom. – Nick.
