Taken on a paddle last weekend. Isn’t it a shame they were just sitting there, waiting?

This is around the “corner” to where I put in my kayak.

animal welfare advocate, hookbill owner, occasional wildlife rehabilitator, chaser of bugs who just loves photography.

I’d love to see full sized ‘dolls’ sitting on them! As you say, they shouldn’t be empty!

Laura – this is just “around the corner” from me. I kayak this little stretch of creek a lot.
Right across from the chairs is a reedy barrier, home to several alligators. In breeding season, they grunt a lot. We had a flood this spring and I was standing in a neighbor’s yard and saw one drift by near this place ( I can see it from where I stand), and there was such a clash! Roaring, splashing – scary is the strength of these animals.

I don’t paddle in breeding season.

Excellent image May and I’m glad there are no gators in it:))))
