A baby opossum caught in a live trap. Her brother was killed by dogs, and there are quite possibly her mother and more siblings under the house.

She will be raised by a volunteer rehabilitator as will the rest of her family if they can be trapped as well. Beany will be released when she is no longer an entree for owls, in a state forest.

Sony W50
Panama City, FL

For now, she is safe and sound, eating well, and at the moment, asleep in her blanket.
