Lodgepole Pine by May Lattanzio

Photographic Prints

Small (8.0" x 10.7")

Up on the Boulder River – I love the glacier up in back.

I love this river. It’s gentle and the river rocks are smooth and polished with water and time. You can pan rubies, garnets and gold out of it, and the trout pools are many. But the best reward is just getting to know it.

See how straight these lodgepoles are? That is why they call them “lodgepole”. They were used in the lodges and for building cabins.
