Sulphur Butterfly in Morning Glory 2 by

There is something about Sulphurs nectaring in blue morning glories that just takes my breath away. The contrast of colors just pleases my eye like none other.

First, this species is difficult to fool. They are exceedingly wary and don’t get used to your presence.

Second is that morning glories aren’t that common here in panhandle Florida, so I had to find a vine and bring a piece home. I planted it by the front fence. Success! It is now the creeping monster that ate my yard and I don’t care. It gives shelter to all sorts of creatures, including birds, all year round and blooms long into December.
