In the morning, this tree I grew from a cutting which bloomed this year, puts forth flowers of white. As the day progresses, the petals tinge pale pink and in the evening, the flower die when they reach a rose color.

I believe it is a relative of the hibiscus. It is beautiful to see three colors of flowers at once.
