Toadflax - Linaria canadadensis by

Blooming now in Bayou George, FL in poor, sandy soil and disturbed area. I understand there are three varieties, but I’ve not seen the others. On delicate stems they can spread a lavender mist where they grow, covering entire fields, nodding in the wind. Flowers are very small and it is a challenge to photograph them because of the thin stems.
