Species: sempervirens (sem-per-VY-renz)

Native to Florida, blooming early (despite the cold) in the Florida Panhandle. A familiar site in spring. Vines do not aggressively choke, but do send streamers of chrome yellow up into the treetops.

This was taken in Bayou George, FL (Florida panhandle).

    Yes – I’m in the panhandle, and I’m thinking it’s growing throughout the southeast and into the Carolinas.

    Ok, if you would add the location, I will take it right away May. For the challenge, I don’t know where the yellow challenge is. But go to the group it’s in and click on challenge, and enter the photo. Most groups require that the photo be in the group first, so check that out.
